We do not add Monosodium Glutamate to any of our seasonings, salad dressings, or entrees. There are some items that contain a type of MSG that occurs naturally. These items include tomatoes, mushrooms, some cheeses, and anything made with beef or chicken base (hydrolyzed protein). Some things you might want to avoid if you wish to limit your MSG intake would include soups, 'shrooms, au jus, cabernet sauce and Bloody Mary mix.
- Order entrees and cut lunches without added seasoning.
- Season at the table with ground pepper.
- Order salads without croutons and cheese.
- Order cut lunches without cheese, sauces, bacon and dressings.
- Order Olive Oil and Red Wine Vinegar dressing.
- Barbecue sauce, cocktail sauce, salad dressing and mayonnaise are high sodium choices. - (When using these items, use as little as possible.)
- Use pepper only to season vegetables and potatoes.
- Our Jacket Potatoes are rolled in softened margarine and Kosher salt prior to the baking process.
